The OPERA Gate Lock Electric Surface-Mounted Lock (series code 28001/28002/28003 ) is a security locking device specifically designed to withstand break-in attempts and the most extreme weather conditions. Security and Burglar-Protection Bolt

The heart of the security is the stainless steel deadbolt with a generous stroke (typically$25$ mm), equipped with ananti-burglary devicethat prevents it from being forced back into the closed position. The lock operates inFail Secure(Deadbolt Closed in the absence of power), which means that in the event of a power failure (blackout), the gate remains locked, maintaining a high level of security.

Smart Electronics and Climate Resistance

Management is entrusted to a sophisticated internal microprocessor electronic circuit that offers essential functions:

1. Smart Auto Relock: The lock locks$2$ seconds after the gate has approached (detected by aHall effect sensor). Furthermore, if the gate is opened and not closed, the lock activates aselectable re-closing timer(typically from$5$ a $60$ seconds), ensuring that access is not inadvertently left open.

2. Weather Reliability: An integrated internal heating system ensures the mechanism functions correctly even in low temperature conditions (generally below5∘ C), preventing blockages due to ice or condensation.

3. Status Indicator (LED): The two-color LEDs (red/green) on the lock clearly indicate the deadbolt's status (open/closed). An additional nighttime LED (blue when closed and white when open) illuminates the floor, adding an element of courtesy and security.

Versatility and Access Control

The lock is designed to be opened via an electric command (generally$12/24$ Vac/dc) coming fromintercoms, video intercoms or access control systems(e.g. badge readers or numeric keypads).

• Mechanical Opening: It is always guaranteed from the outside by means of a standard round cylinder (not always supplied) and from the inside by means of a key cylinder, knob or button, depending on the version chosen (Art. 28001, 28002 or 28003).

• Adjustable Backset: The ability to adjust the backset ( 50, 60 or 70 mm ) allows for great installation flexibility, adapting to both new gates and replacements of existing locks.
